Along with the other ITC's in Iowa and IOWA WIRELESS (IWS), we will provide a statewide wireless telecommunications network. Expanding the current service area gives our customers greater coverage, access, and clarity when making mobile telephone calls in and around our communities.

In addition to providing better voice quality communications than cellular service, customers receive the highest level of protection available against fraud and eavesdropping. Verocity Wireless and IWS customers can also use built-in features such as sending and receiving e-mail from a handset, voice mail, caller ID and high-speed data transmission.

There are a variety of calling plans available. We will work with you to find the best solution available to meet your requirements.

Internet Access provided through CCTC by netINS

Travel the Internet and explore the electronic worlds of commerce, business, education, and entertainment with a personal computer, a modem, and a netINS account. A local call will plug you in to a netINS account at speeds up to 56k over a standard phone line.

netINS Internet Connections let you download software, exchange e-mail, and post your own web pages. Free technical support is provided via an 800 number.

Cost of netINS Dial-Up Internet through CCTC is $13.95 per month for Residential and Business. Both offer unlimited monthly access (no time limits).

High Speed Internet

Benefits of High Speed vs Dial-up:
-Reliable, easy to start, & worry free
-No more dial-up access or busy signals
-Download most data in seconds - not minutes or hours
-Surf the web with unlimited access - no hourly usage surcharges
-Various speeds available to meet your requirements & budget (a great value)
-Shop, download music & videos faster
-Research homework faster

Benefits of SDSL
-Multi speed symmetric transmission. Designed for business and those residential customers who require greater upload speed.
-Truly plug and play. Other than SDSL modem and computer Ethernet card, no additional CPE equipment required.
-Always on access (eliminates dialing).
-Dedicated line for data transmission only. Eliminates most possibilities of loosing voice & data service at the same time in the rare case of loop failure.
-Not as susceptible to line noise or line conditioning equipment such as bridge taps.

Benefits of ADSL
-Multi speed asymmetric transmission. Designed for those residential and business customers who do not do a lot of file uploads.
-Talk on the phone & surf the Internet at the same time.
-2nd phone line no longer required. ADSL does require filters to be installed at each phone, in addition to an ADSL modem and computer Ethernet card.

Limitations of ADSL & SDSL
- Both are distance sensitive.
- DSL service is dependent upon local network conditions. Each phone line must be tested and qualified. Testing will be done at the time of order. Additional costs may apply, but will be reviewed with customer before provisioning.
- Actual DSL speeds are dependent upon distance and loop conditions.
